Myra L. Boos

January 10, 1933 — October 18, 2022

t is with great sadness the family of Myra Lynn Boos wish to announce that on the morning of October

18, 2022, Myra suddenly left this life and was reunited with her husband, Robert, her parents, and her

many friends and family in Heaven.

Myra was born in Crestview, Florida on January 10, 1933 and lived her early years there with her family

until she moved to Niagara Falls with her mother, Annie, at age 11. She spent many years at Miss Bev’s

Dance studio where she learned all styles of dance and also spent a short time dancing professionally in

New York City after graduating from Niagara Falls High School. She then became an executive secretary

at the Army Corp of Engineers until she met and married her husband of 61 years, Robert Boos. They

moved to Ransomville where they raised their two children and lived the rest of their lives.

Myra spent her life as a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend, and caregiver to her mother and

husband. She had great faith in God and always told everyone about Jesus and what he had done for

her. She cherished her many friends over the years and was always there to help.

Myra’s family was her treasure and she was always there for her son and daughter. Her grandchildren

and especially her three great grandchildren always brought her great joy and will always remember

their “Granny” and all the good times they had; especially on holidays, eating her delicious food, and

playing cards.

Myra is predeceased by her father, JC Edge, her mother and stepfather, Annie C. and Frank T. Peller, her

brother Eugene, her husband, Robert and her son in law, Kevin C. Schultz. She is survived by and will be

dearly missed by her daughter, Terri L. Schultz and son, Brian K. Boos, grandchildren, Krissandra (Joshua)

Lewis, Kalli (Thomas) Mooradian, and Andrew (Miranda) Schultz and her great grandchildren Wyatt,

Colin, and Lauren Lewis as well as her constant companion, Ollie the cat.

No services are scheduled at this time but a Memorial service to celebrate Myra’s life is planned for

family and friends in the Spring.
