Mark C. Irwin Sr., age 57 of Youngstown, died Saturday July 10, 2010 at his residence. Mark was born February 15, 1953 in Buffalo, NY, the son of Robert Irwin of Lockport and Ruth (Imhoff) Irwin of Florida. He was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School and had served in the U.S. Navy from 1972 to 1973. For the past 25 years he was employed by Lewiston Porter Central School in the Buildings & Grounds Department. He owned and operated a landscaping business as well. Mark enjoyed running marathons and was an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents he is survived by two sons, Mark C. (Priscilla) Irwin, Jr. of Spencerport, NY and Jason Irwin of North Tonawanda; his grandchildren, Emily, Grace, Mary Elizabeth, and Lucas Irwin; two brothers, Terry Irwin of Lockport and Frank J. (Beth) Irwin of Ohio; two sisters, Deborah (Thomas) Wills of Newfane and Laurie Irwin of Lockport. He was predeceased by two brothers, Robert and Ronald Irwin. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 15, at 7:00 PM in the funeral home. Burial will private in Oakland Rural Cemetery, Youngstown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Youngstown Volunteer Fire Co., Ambulance Fund, PO Box 387, Youngstown, NY 14174.
