Marilyn J. Beck, 72, of Wilson, NY, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on February 23, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, at Our Lady of Peace Nursing Home in Lewiston, NY. Born on September 25, 1952, in Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Lucille (nee Kinney) Jakubec.

Marilyn married the love of her life, Eugene C. Beck, on May 25, 1974, and together they resided in Ransomville, NY. They shared a beautiful life until Eugene's passing on January 31, 1996. Throughout her life, Marilyn held many roles, including working as a Crossing Guard for Ransomville Elementary and as a sales associate at Big Lots in Niagara Falls, NY.

Marilyn cherished visiting her friends and spending time with her grandchildren. She had a deep love for the outdoors and nature, often found sitting on her front porch, singing, and embracing the beauty around her. Marilyn also enjoyed surfing the internet and playing online games. Marilyn will be remembered for her kindness, her love for nature, and the joy she brought to those around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marilyn was predeceased by her loving son, Thomas; her brothers, Gary, Robert, and William (late Bonnie) Jakubec; and her brother-in-law, Craig Lynch. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Tammy (Raymond Coyle) Beck; her dear daughter-in-law, Anne Beck; her cherished grandchildren, Madelyn, Kairi, Zoey, Logan, and Kirsten; and her caring siblings, Linda Wagner, Lucille Imhoff, Bonnie (Sam) Vinju, Carolyn Hess, Gail Czach, Dorothy Lynch, and Leonard (Shelley) Jakubec. Marilyn is also survived by many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

The family will be present to receive friends on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3-7 PM at Hardison Funeral Homes, Inc., 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, where Funeral Services will follow at 7 PM. Friends are invited to join in celebrating Marilyn's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Marilyn to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
