Lynda Mcspadden

Lynda J. McSpadden, age 63 of Wilson, died Saturday July 9, 2016 at her residence under the loving care of her family and Niagara Hospice. Lynda was born December 13, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Elwood and Dorothy (Graeyck) Erway. She was a 1971 graduate of Wilson High School and a lifelong resident of Wilson. She was employed as a Postal Clerk by the U.S. Postal Service in Wilson for six years. For the past 19 years, Lynda owned and operated the "L.J." Ice Cream Stand in Cambria. She enjoyed nature and wildlife. Lynda loved spending time in Fort Meyer Beach, FL and traveling the U.S. She is survived by her children; Travis (Nikki) Budde of Austin, TX, Marnee Moberg of Monroe NC, and Shayla McSpadden of Cheektowaga; her grandchildren, Caden and Ty Budde; her loving companion, Paul "Sparky" Biddlecombe; a brother, David (Pam) Erway of Wilson, and a half brother, Lee Erway of Smithport, PA. A Celebration of Lynda's Life will be held on Thursday, July 14, from 6 - 9 pm at the Sunset Grill, 3 O'Connell Island, Wilson, NY. There will be no prior visitation. Memorials may be made to Niagara County D.A.R.E. Program, 5526 Niagara St. Ext. P.O. Box 496, Lockport, NY 14095.
