Judy Stevens

Judy M. “Jude” Stevens, 77 of Lewiston NY, entered into rest on Tuesday December 18 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital Kenmore, NY. She was born in Niagara Falls, NY on June 26, 1941 to the late Elmer and the late Twila Williams Stevens. Jude graduated from Lew-Port High School class of 1959 and went on to receive her master’s degree from SUNY Brockport in Physical Education. She began her teaching career at Gaskell and finished at LaSalle Senior High School retiring in 1995. Jude was the 1st Women to work for the NYS Parks Police during the summer months at Artpark. She enjoyed golfing, bowling, taking road trips on her motorcycle, her loving pets and family parties. Jude was never afraid to speak to her mind and her family and friends will miss her wit personality. Jude is survived by her sister; Marsha Stevens; a brother Charles (Carol) Stevens; her sister in-law Judith Stevens; her former sister in-law Sandra Stevens Kelly. She is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; Jeff Stevens, John (Kristel) Stevens, Cindy Stevens Weeks, Marchette (James) Paul, David Stevens (Kathy Powell), Lee (Carrie) Stevens, Mark (Rhonda) Stevens Jennifer (Michael) St. John, Scott Stevens and James Stevens. Jude is predeceased by her brothers Kenneth and John Stevens. Family and friends may call on THURSDAY from 3-7 PM at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOMES INC., N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on FRIDAY at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Dr. Rex Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Wilson, NY.
