Joan Kadziolka

Joan E. Kadziolka, age 81 of Wilson NY, died Monday July 3, 2017 at her home in Wilson after a brief illness. Joan was born October 3, 1935 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late Martin and Dorothy (Krege) Scholl and was a graduate of Girls Vocational High School. She married Edward K. Kadziolka in 1955 and they moved to Wilson in 1990. Joan was employed as a Secretary by Warner Jewelry Co. in Buffalo for 14 years, retiring in1969. Joan enjoyed vegetable gardening, cooking, and baking. In addition to her husband, Edward, she is survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Ben) Higgins and Norma Gumhalter; two brothers, Howard (Audrey) Scholl and Thomas (Marti) Scholl; a sister in law, Astrid Scholl, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Scholl. Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday, July 7, from 3 - 7 PM. A prayer service will begin in the funeral home at 7:00 PM the Rev. James Bastian officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094.
