Eleanor Murphy

Eleanor C. Murphy, age 85 formerly of Niagara Falls, NY, died Tuesday October 2, 2012 in the Autumn Ridge Assisted Living of Clarkson in Holly, MI after a lengthy illness. Eleanor was born January 21, 1927 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late George and Frances (Theis) Weidert. She was a graduate of Trott Vocational High School and lived in Niagara Falls until moving to Michigan 20 years ago. She was the widow of Francis Murphy who died June 1, 1976. Eleanor is survived by five daughters, Charlene Murphy of Niagara Falls, NY, Linda (Alan) Truesdale of Youngstown, Corinne (Robert) Garrison of Holly, MI, Trisha (Jerry) White of the Town of Niagara, and Janell (Angelo) Farbo of Lewiston; a sister in law, Marion Weidert; 13 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, William and George (the late Jane) Weidert. , Funeral Services and Burial were private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Arrangements were entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
