Clara Robinson

Clara Robinson, age 98, passed away peacefully under the compassionate care of Niagara Hospice House on Thursday, February 13, 2025. Born on August 14, 1926, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the cherished daughter of the late Santiago and Rosario (nee Inguanzo) Fernandez.

Following graduation from Niagara Falls High School in 1945, she was employed as a clerk at Kimberly Clark for several years. On May 15, 1948, Clara married her beloved husband, Raymond L. Robinson, in Niagara Falls, NY. Together, they built a loving family and raised four children with devotion and care. Sadly, Raymond passed away on December 10, 2012

Clara was an active member of the Home School Association and the choir at Our Lady of Lebanon Church until she moved to Youngstown in 1969. She was employed as a teacher aide for the Lewiston-Porter Central School District for eighteen years. Upon retirement, she became an active member of the Youngstown Senior Citizens Organization. She enjoyed creating artwork of all kinds and was also a member of the Spanish Club in Niagara Falls. Clara was an avid reader and a true history buff. Above all, she loved spending time with her beloved family. Clara's family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have supported them during this time of loss.

Predeceased by her parents and beloved husband, Clara was also preceded in death by her dear daughter-in-law Diana Robinson; caring brother James Fernandez and nephew Nicholas Fernandez. Her legacy lives on through her dear children, Wayne (Julie) Robinson, of Lexington, SC, Claire (Honorable Hugh) Gee, of Lewiston, NY, Raymond Robinson, of N. Tonawanda and Robin (David) Wyno, of Youngstown, NY; seven cherished grandchildren, and thirteen adored great-grandchildren; also survived by several nieces and nephews.

There will be no prior visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to Hardison Funeral Homes, Inc., 401 Ridge Street, Lewiston, NY. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from Niagara Frontier Bible Church, 5287 Bronson Drive, Lewiston, NY at 11 AM. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Clara's life.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Clara's honor to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Drive, Lockport, NY 14094.
