Arthur Krikorian

Arthur H. Krikorian, age 88 of Lewiston , died Monday July 18, 2011 in the Niagara Hospice House in Lockport. Mr. Krikorian was born April 1, 1923 in Lepo, Syria to the late Hachig and Lucia Krikorian, while immigrating to the United States from Armenia. He was raised in Niagara Falls and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. A veteran of WW II, Arthur served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer from 1943 to 1946, having seen action in Germany, Italy, and France. He retired from a long career working in the Billing & Purchasing Departments of Hooker & Occidental Chemical Companies. He married Elsie G. (Wilkinson) Krikorian and they have resided in Lewiston the past 35 years. Arthur was a devoted husband, a great dad, and a loving grandfather. He is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie; a son, Greg (Mary) Krikorian of Palmyra, PA; his grandchildren, Kathleen, Zack, Lucy, Clare, and Bridget; two brothers, Nerses (Pat) Krikorian of New Mexico, Michael Krikorian of Michigan; a sister, Dorothy Kirkorian of New York City, and numerous nieces and nephews. , Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday, July 22, from 10 to 11 am. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Msgr. Thomas Moran officiating. Entombment will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Boys and Girls Club of Niagara Falls, 725 17th St., Niagara Falls, NY 14301.
