Steven A. Buzzard, age 55, of Ransomville died unexpectedly on Sunday, March 17, at his home. He was born March 23, 1968, in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Marian (Aaron) Buzzard and the late William "Bill" I. Buzzard.
Steven was a 1986 graduate of Wilson High School and went on to Wyoming Technical Institute where he earned his degree in Diesel Mechanics. He was a Senior Master Technician at Basil Ford in Niagara Falls where he has been employed for the past 15 years.
Steven was an active member of Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville and a member of the Wilson Conservation Club. He loved hunting, camping, and four-wheeling. Steven also loved racing. He drove in the Street Stock Class for many years at the Ransomville Speedway. Of all his passions and interests, his love of family was the most important to him.
He married the love of his life, Donna M. Stahle, in July of 1990. In addition to Donna and his mother, Marian, he is survived by his daughters, Marissa (Ryan) Hoolihan, Emily (Adam) Pike and Rachel Buzzard; his siblings, Cathy (late Clemon) Monrean, Jesse (Patti) Buzzard, Jerome (Renee) Buzzard, Margaret (Jeffrey) Hall, Ruth Campagna, William (Shelley) Buzzard, Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Owen and Hunter Hoolihan, and Madelyn Pike as well as many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville on Friday, March 22, from 3 to 7 pm. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered on Saturday, March 23, at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Town Line Rd., Ransomville, NY with Rev. Andrew Lauricella officiating.
