Lisa M. Bradshaw, 63, formerly of Lewiston, NY, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, July 25, 2012, after a long and difficult illness. She passed peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Clearwater, Florida, where she resided with her sister, Sarah Thompson, since 2010. Born on July 18, 1949, in Niagara Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Elizabeth "Betty" (Schneider) Bradshaw of Lewiston. Lisa grew up in Lewiston and was a life-long member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. She attended St. Peter's School and Lewiston-Porter High School. She was employed by the New York State Parks Department at Artpark, until retiring due to illness in 1999. Lisa enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and had tremendous love and compassion for animals. She especially enjoyed the annual family vacation to Wasaga Beach, Canada. Although she never had children of her own, she helped raise her many nieces and nephews, as well as their children and grand-children, acting as aunt, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She left an indelible mark, and will be forever remembered and loved. In addition to her parents, Lisa was predeceased by her brother Milton (Middy) Bradshaw, her sisters Judith (late Robert) Philbrick, and Linda (late Walter) Roemer, and her niece Judith "Dee Dee" Roemer. She is survived by her sister Sarah (late Steve) Thompson, her brother Thomas (Cheryl) Bradshaw and nieces and nephews, Samantha (Ahmed) Nasr, Robert Philbrick, II, Guy (Stacey) Philbrick, Victoria Bradshaw-Thomas, Milton (Mary) Bradshaw, Matthew Bradshaw, Jackie (Thomas) Walker, Michael (Jean) Roemer, Patrick (Cyndi) Roemer, Elizabeth Roemer, Megan Roemer, Mary Kate Roemer, Bridget Roemer, Kim Spacone, Tammy (Paul) Kysor, Steve Thompson, Mickey (Laurie) Thompson, Brad (Marianna) Thompson, Bret (Stacy) Thompson, Melissa (Scott) Meogrossi, Tiffany (Rexford) Chandler, Thomas (Missy) Bradshaw, and several great and great-great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear aunt Helen (late Duane) Ferguson and cousin Richard (Beverly) Ferguson of Kenora, Ontarip, cousin Jan (late Al) Mills of Ontario, Canada, and life-long best friend Anne (Robert) Welch of Lewiston. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Friday, September 14, from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 15, at 10:00 am in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Michael Zuffoletto officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent in Lisa's name to Suncoast Hospice Foundation, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760 or to Catholic Charities
