Joyce Sattelberg

Joyce I. Sattelberg, age 80 of Newfane, died Thursday May 31, 2012 in Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Joyce was born July 30, 1931 in Buffalo, the daughter of the late George H. and Ruth I.(Beer) Butcher. She married Walter Sattelberg, Sr. on May 5, 1956. Walter predeceased her on January 17, 1994. Joyce had worked as a typist for Abstract & Title Insurance Co. in Buffalo from 1950 to 1956. She is survived by her children, Irene Sattelberg of North Tonawanda, Walter Sattelberg, Jr. of Middleport, David Sattelberg of Sanborn, and Mark Sattelberg of Gasport; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; and an aunt, Doris Regoord of Rochester, NY. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 11:00 am in North Ridge Cemetery, Church Rd. Town of Cambria. There ill be no prior visitation Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Assoc., WNY Chapter, 315 Alberta Dr., Amherst, NY 14226. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville.
