Dennis R. Buchner

Dennis R. Buchner, age 76, of Youngstown, died Monday, July 18, 2022, at Mount St. Mary's Hospital. Dennis was born on September 13, 1945, in Niagara Falls, NY. He is the son of the late Lester and the late Joyce (Anderson) Buchner.

He retired from Modern Disposal as a Truck Driver in 2008 after 24 years, previously owning and operating a Pepsi Cola delivery business. Dennis also was a truck driver for various local farms, including Baker Farms and Treichler Greenhouses. He loved to attend the races at Ransomville Speedway where he raced a car in the 60’s. He enjoyed helping out friends, neighbors, and his family.

Surviving are his children; Tammy (Peter) Pesaresi, James (Lisa) Buchner; stepchildren, Brenda Scozzafava, and Robert (Tara) Richards; Son-inlaw Tom Scozzafava; sister-in-law Judy Buchner and 5 grandchildren, Natalie, Emillie, Joshuah, Mandy and Brandon and loving companion Patricia Richards and dog GIGI He is predeceased by a stepdaughter Barbara Scozzafava; his brother, Larry Buchner and granddaughter Nicolle Goffin.

Calling hours will be Thursday, July 21st from 4-7 PM. at Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY.

The funeral will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, July 22nd at Hardison Funeral Home, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY. Burial to follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park.
