Carol Ripson

Carol H. Ripson, age 89 lifelong resident of Ransomville and Wilson, died Tuesday November 13, 2012 in the Niagara Rehabilitation and Health Center in Niagara Falls after a long illness. Carol was born June 19, 1923 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late John L. and Myrtle (Hotchkin) Ripson. She was a graduate of Wilson High School and attended beauty school in Niagara Falls. For 25 years Carol worked as a Hair Stylist with the Francis Ingram Beauty Shop on Academy Street in Ransomville. She was an avid reader. She is survived by and will be deeply missed by her friends, Elizabeth "Betty" McGhee of Ransomville and Barbara Wooten. Services will be private. There will be no visitation.
