Blanche A. Gallo

Blanche A. Gallo, age 95, of Ransomville died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at her home after a brief illness She was born May 26, 1927 in Blandon, PA, the daughter of the late George and Lydia (Stufflet) Millard and her late step-father, Calvin Angstadt. On February 13, 1945 she married Charles Gallo who predeceased her April 3, 2011.

Blanche always put her children, family, and friends before all and was a caregiver for many people. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, ceramics, and baking for her family and friends.

She is survived by two daughters: Rose (Wayne) Peters and Diane Zastrow (John Locurcio), two sons, Jeffrey Gallo (Bernadette Mihalow) and Charles (Penny) Gallo, Jr.; a daughter in law, Dian Gallo; 18 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren, and 13 great great grandchildren. Blanche was predeceased by a son, Marvin Gallo and a brother, Stewart (Dorice)Millard.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME 3648 Ransomville Rd. Ransomville on Monday, March 27, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will begin at 1:00 pm in the funeral home with the Rev. Stewart Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow in North Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Ransomville Volunteer Fire Co.
