Marlie Paul Force, "Paul", of Lewiston died on January 24, 2017 after a brief illness.

Born on February 1, 1936 in Niagara Falls, NY Paul graduated from Niagara Falls High School and briefly attended the University of Rochester. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1955 to 1958 then joined his father in the family business, Force Motor Parts. Paul later purchased the business from his father and continued operating it until 1980. Paul was the beloved husband of Carol Talbot Force with whom he had been married for 59 years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sister-in-law, HelenTalbot-Bond, his brother-in-law, Brian Talbot, three nieces, three nephews, four great nieces and one great nephew. He was predeceased by his parents, Marlie and Elizabeth Force, and a half sister, Leota "Billie" Gors.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston on Sunday, July 2, from 1 - 2 pm. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home, followed by Military Honors at Dickersonville Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. Should one wish to make a memorial gift in Paul's name, it is suggested that a donation be made to one's favorite charity.
