Obituary of Jeanette M. Causer

Jeanette M. Causer, age 69 of Ransomville, died Tuesday May 19, 2009 in the Buffalo General Hospital after a brief illness. Jeanette was born February 23, 1940 in Lewiston, the daughter of the late John Andrew and Viola (Lonsdale) Martin. She was a 1958 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School and on June 2, 1962 she married Ronald E. Causer who predeceased her in 1991. Jeanette worked for a number if years at Union Carbide in the 1960's and at Gramma's Place in Ransomville in the 1980's. She grew up attending the First Presbyterian Church of Lewiston and later was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown where she served as a Deacon. Jeanette was a member of the Auxiliary for the Lockport Presbyterian Home, the Presbyterian Women, and Church Women United. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia Causer of Lockport and Cand'ese White of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandson, Scott Causer and 3 Other grandchildren; three brothers, Harold "Bucky" Martin of Florida, Donald (Connie) Martin of Youngstown, and Richard (Ann) Martin of Topeka, KS; a sister in law, Dorothy Martin of Florida, and a brother in law, Bud Myers of Lewiston. She was predeceased by two sons, Buddy Ray and Timothy Causer; a brother, Norman Martin and a sister, Elizabeth Myers. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Rd., Ransomville, NY on Friday from 7 - 9 PM only. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, May 24, at 1:30 PM in the First Presbyterian Church of Youngstown, 100 Church St., Youngstown, with the Rev. Charles Lamb officiating. Burial will be held on Tuesday, May 26, at 1:00 PM in the West Sunbury Union Cemetery, West Sunbury, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be to the Lockport Presbyterian Home, 305-327 High St., Lockport, NY 14094
