Willard E. "Bill" Caldwell, age 57 of Lewiston NY, died Friday October 9, 2009 at his residence after a short illness. Bill was born August 21, 1952 in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of the late Willard J. and Edith (Wisor) Caldwell and was a 1970 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. He was a Mechanic A, employed by the NY State Power Authority for 20 years, retiring in 2008. He is survived by his children, William M. Caldwell and Jennifer A. Caldwell both of Lewiston; his former wife Joan (Lozina) Caldwell and her parents, Joseph & Teresa Lozina all of Lewiston; a brother, Larry (Theresa) Caldwell of Niagara Falls; and a sister, Betty Battaglia of Williamsville, NY. He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Caldwell. Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 15, at 10:00 AM in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Sebastian C. Pierro officiating. (Please assemble at Church) Entombment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. Flowers are gratefully declined.
