Beloved Father, James Patrick Byrne, age 52, of Eagan, Minnesota, died suddenly, Saturday September 12, 2009. He was born in Newport, RI on May 5, 1957 the son of the late Anna Marie (Soares) and A. Earl Byrne. He was a 1975 graduate of Rogers High School, a 1990 Associate's graduate of CCRI and a 1993 Bachelor's graduate of Roger Williams University. He was an Engineer and Computer Programmer for the last 20 years. He worked for several companies including General Dynamics, Raytheon, Sysdyne Corporation, Westinghouse and the Department of the Navy. He enjoyed baseball, especially the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, salt water fishing, spending time with friends and family and his beloved dog, Cassie. James is survived by his daughter, Kelly Victoria Byrne of Lewiston and his brother, John Earl Byrne of Chicago, IL, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close friends, Renee Plante and Deborah Ash, and his ex wife, Cecelia (Langlois) Byrne. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 3, 2009, at 9:00 am in St. Peter's RC Church, 600 Center St., Lewiston, with the Rev. Sebastian C. Pierro officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and/or the Relay for Life. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
