Lori Ann M. Shook, age 41 of Ransomville, died Tuesday August 25, 2009 in Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital in Buffalo, after a brief illness.
Lori was born October 18, 1967 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Walter and Jennie Gwiazdowski) Kujawa. She was a 1985 graduate of Wilson High School and lifelong area resident. Lori was employed by Pfeiffer Foods in Wilson as a Sanitation Supervisor and has been with the company since 1995. She had attended Immaculate Conception RC Church in Ransomville. Lori loved her cats and enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by a sister, Kelli Fisher of Newfane; two brothers, Daniel Kujawa of Attica, NY and Walter Kujawa of Lockport; and her niece and nephews: Tyler, Jessica, and Jared Fisher.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 29, at 9:30 am in Immaculate Conception RC Church, 4671 Townline Rd. (Rt.429) Ransomville, with the Rev. Joseph Badding officiating. (Please assemble at Church). Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to Save-A-Pet, PO Box 114, Newfane, NY 14108 or to the Millard Fillmore Hospital Foundation, c/o Neuro-Stroke Care Center, 1260 Delaware Ave., Buffalo, NY 14209.
