Thursday, March 22, 2018Bud's passing has brought back family memories from many years ago. We were in touch when I young, and I remember Joyce's wedding, picking fruit at uncle Chester's farm when he was sick, growing up with Mark when he moved to the city, and babysitting Bud's kids when they lived in Lasalle. I witnessed his concern when I had a medical problem as a young adult and he and Kathy came see me in the hospital. We subsequently saw each other at "events" like funerals of our Grandmother, my father, his mother, etc. But in all that passage of time and at each event, I have remembered Bud's smile, grace, warmth and personal outreach no matter what was happening. I knew of his more recent medical situation and hoped for good days for him and his family. My best wishes to Kathy and the family. Pat
