Peter C. MacLaren, 76, of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2017. Born on December 8, 1941 in Niagara Falls, NY, Peter was the son of the late Donald and Helen (Cameron) MacLaren.
 

A graduate of Niagara Falls High School, Peter honorably served in the US Army from 1960-1963. He married Eileen Albion in 1965 and has resided in Lewiston since 1979. Peter worked for GM/Harrison Radiator for 32 years, and upon retiring, worked at Niagara University and was currently serving on the Lewiston Zoning Board of Appeals, helping the village he loved so much.
 

Peter is survived by Eileen, his wife of 52 years; daughters, Liz (Rob) Pool and Jan (Ryan) Strawbrich; son, Don (Kim) MacLaren; grandchildren, Alyssa (Tim) Vaughn, Amanda and Connor Pool; and his great-grandson, Trevor Vaughn. He is also survived by his sister, Cyndy (Charlie) Terrett; mother-in-law, Violet Albion; sisters-in-law, Karen (Kenny) Stidham and Sue (Bob) Huard; and his brother-in-law, Carl (Gloria) Albion. There will be a memorial service, at a later date, for family and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517.
