Obituary of Francine J. Barry

Francine J. Barry, age 98 of Lewiston, died unexpectedly on Saturday November 18, 2017 in Mt. St. Mary's Hospital in Lewiston.

Francine was born March 19, 1919 in Deep River, MI, the daughter of the late John and Katherine (Kwolek) Baron. As a young woman, she was a professional dancer and circus performer. Francine was a Hostess at the former John's Flaming Hearth in Niagara Falls for over 20 years. On January 9, 1983 she married Dr. Raymond S. Barry, Jr. He predeceased her in 2003. Francine was a communicant of St. Peter, s RC Church in Lewiston.

She is survived by her nieces, Linda Jacobs and Joanne Baron as well as several other nieces and nephews; her caregivers, Sandy and Leroy Myrtle; and her beloved German shepherd, Orona. She was predeceased by two brothers and four sisters.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, November 24, at Holy Angels Mausoleum in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lewiston. There will be no prior visitation. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's RC Church Building Fund, 600 Center St., Lewiston, NY 14092. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Sts., Lewiston.
