Obituary of Louise F. Tata

Louise F. Tata, age 85 lifelong resident of Niagara Falls NY,went to be with the Lord on Saturday June 24, 2017 in the Northgate Health Care Facility in Wheatfield.

 

Louise was born March 17, 1932 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late Frederick and Venita (Wells) Harris and was a graduate of Niagara Falls High School. On October 29, 1955 she married James M. Tata and together they raised their three children. James predeceased her in September of 2016. Louise had worked for a time for the Cerebral Palsy Association and for DiCamillo's Bakery.

 

She was a member of the United Baptist Christian Church in Lewiston. She loved Bingo, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

 

She is survived by her children, Bernadette (Gordon) Goodearl, Janine Tata, and Jim (Patti) Tata all of Niagara Falls, NY; her grandchildren, Anthony Goodearl, Edward (Krista) Goodearl, Susan (Justin) Stone, Jason Tata, Ryan (Alexis) Tata, and Amanda (Ben) Sicoli; and five great grandchildren. Louise was the oldest of twelve siblings and is also survived by three sisters, Beverly Bradley, Dorothy Ardus, and Betty Winters, and a sister in law, Carol Tato.

 

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 29, at 11:00 AM in the United Baptist Christian Church, 4800 Creek Rd., Lewiston, NY, with the Rev. Vince Eisamen officiating. Friends may call at the church from 10 - 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, N. Fourth & Ridge Streets, Lewiston.
