Obituary of Ryan J. Kaufman

Ryan J. Kaufman, age 28 of Wilson, died unexpectedly on Sunday May 21, 2017.

Ryan was born October 12, 1988 in Newfane, NY, the son of Starr (Wilson) LeBrun of Youngstown and the late Gary Kaufman. He was a 2006 graduate of Lockport High School and most recently was employed as an assembly lineman at Associated Brands in Medina. Previous to that Ryan was employed by RAW Construction in Newfane for two years.

He was an avid Buffalo Bills and Sabres fan. Ryan loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He recently purchased Go Karts and was preparing to race them at Ransomville and Lime Rocks Speedways.

He is survived by his mother and step father, Starr and John LeBrun; a brother, Jeremy Kaufman; his grandmother, Barbara Barger; three step sisters, Lynelle, Yardley, and Allyssa LeBrun; his girlfriend, Erin Cook; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 26, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. William Lowery, Pastor of the Ransomville Free Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the North Ridge Cemetery, Cambria. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wilson Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1 Ambulance Fund, P.O. Box 609, 250 Young St., Wilson, NY 14172.
