Biography
Elizabeth M. "Betty" Stevenson, age 97 of Ridge Rd., died unexpectedly on Friday August 20, 2010 at her residence.
Betty was born June 16, 1913 in Niagara Falls, NY, the daughter of the late James and Opal (Bye) Bartlebaugh and has lived in the Town of Cambria for over 55 years. She was married to Lloyd V. Stevenson until his death in 1996. She loved animals and traveling with her husband in their RV.
She is survived by her longtime companion, Roy H. Youngstrom of the Town of Cambria and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Marjorie Rafferty and three brothers, Henry, James, and Wayne Bartlebaugh.
Friends may call at HARDISON FUNERAL HOME, 3648 Ransomville Road, Ransomville on Monday from 5 - 8 pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 24, at 11:00 AM in the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael A. Keicher officiating. Burial will follow in Niagara Falls Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston. Memorials may be made to the Niagara County SPCA, 2100 Lockport Rd., Niagara Falls, NY 14304.
